Your blood was on my skin
and all I could do was laugh.

Follow Your Dreams
Tracing the lines of the curb with my fingertips
Anticipation is the only thing that keeps me
From becoming wholly numb
The calloused stroke of cold cement
Through tights that run
Back seamed,
If you can grasp what I mean
Tired and tried, I won't sleep this time.

Daylight Losing!
I'm actually going to try to update this! I feel like a broken record, but we'll see how it goes. Today I became the queen of tardiness at work; I set my alarm for PM instead of AM, what a classic mistake. And just when I was wowed by daylight savings, HA! I'm really missing some things right now, but I just don't think I'm in a position to change the way things are. It sounds kind of petty and whatnot, I know. "I'm the only one who can take action and get what I want for myself." Easier said than done. And I'm drinking tea and I'm trying to find a more productive me. I'm trying to play more music, make more music lately. I really want to find someone to collaborate with, but I'm so shy about playing in front of anyone and everyone's schedules seem to be in conflict with mine. I'm good at excuses I've realized. Why am I still at home? I don't know.....

Nothing to Offer

Le Dernier Jour
Here I am, wanting to write again. For the hundredth time. For the millionth time. And still I have nothing of substance to say. It's all just letters strung together in vulgar fashion, just pouring out from some very vacant compartment of the mind. These are not the interpretations that are born of observation and memory, of analysis, psychology, and fear. But there is geometry in everything. The depth of these artificial surroundings is so impressive it's disgusting. I am sick over the brilliance of it all.

A Little Fille That's Stuck In Bed
School Started!! Woooooottttt! It's going to be a crazy semester, I'll ridiculously busy but I think I like things better that way. I saw the San Francisco Ballet on Sunday at Stern Grove. It was amazing. I was on some visual enhancers at the time, so that definitely heightened the experience. It was so much fun. Afterward, there was the BBQ house show at Venny and Jack's place. That was really fun, too. Botron, Swank, Ordstro, and Flat Out played. The whole weekend was really good. On Saturday it was an amazingly beautiful day. We spent the whole day out on the deck in the backyard. Sunbathing, drinking pitchers of Siberian Sunrise Saturday drink, eating watermelon, and playing music and boardgames. It was a perfect day.
Work's been good. Everything's been good. My foot was really hurting, but it's starting to feel better, so I'm really relieved. Shawn's been over a lot. We all had a rave in my garage last night, rode bikes, and drank white russians all night. All in celebration of Wednesdays. We put pictures of W stuff all over the house and did all things W. It was hilarious. But I'm off to SF Dancewear, Oscar's Photo Lab, and SFMOMA. Hopefully David and I can get everything done in the time we've been given. Bye Bye for now!

Almost Vegan Grilled Cheese
Brittany and Carlos are one hundred percent moved into my flat. It's really great, things seem to be falling into place. Finally. The San Diego trip went really well. The show was excellent; I was surprised at the outcome seeing as how it took place at Music Trader. It was a lot of fun.
The bonfire after was something that made me truly miss San Diego. If there was ever a moment when I felt as though I could live there again, that was it. We all met up at the cliffs, climbed down and started drinking. Joe, being the mountain man he is, got the fire started. We went around the fire introducing ourselves and saying our favorite condiment. There was a lot of nudity and epic ocean swimming. I was swimming in sea grass as the sun came up, it was beautiful. I think it was a really good way to show everyone from out of town how we do things in San Diego and what it's all about. But back to things at the home front, David is now staying with me. It's been great having him around. I'm a bit overworked lately, but I'm really happy with the way things are right now. There have been some good shows, some partying, and just a lot of nice well spent time. I got a new bed. I love it. Shawn, David, and I stayed up all night last Friday building it. It was well worth it.
It's past my bedtime now (new bed time, ha), so I'll end with saying this; School starts on Monday. I cannot wait. :D
